I'm glad you love Israel too! I pray everybody who is thrilled about the Holy Land of Israel and its rich history, concerned about its pulsating current events and who share the hope of its bright future (after the Storm has passed) can go up to Jerusalem and explore throughout the Promised Land of Israel and let the Scriptures come further alive!

You could say I have a God-given love for the Jews and the nation of Israel (Isaiah 62:6-7). That sacred bond has been strengthened over the years by the fact that I've been blessed to have lived all over Israel, getting to know its land and people quite well.

Apart from 5 months at Ramat Yohanan (where I met my "kibbutz mother," Miriam Weiss) I've also stayed at Sdot Yam on the Mediterranean, next to Caesarea, the site of my first ulpan (intensive Hebrew course), and where Israel's heroine, Hannah Senesh, was from; Regavim, near Zichron Yaakov, where I continued my Hebrew lessons amid its rolling green hills; Reshafim, near Bet She'an, with Mt. Gilboa practically in our backyard, and Jordan's mountains in lovely view out front; Adamit, on Lebanon's border, high up on a mountain, from where on clear days you can see all the way to Haifa's Mt. Carmel; Shoval, a rose in the Negev desert, just north of Be'er Sheva; Dan, way up in the northernmost part of Israel, in between Syria and Lebanon, next to the majestic snow-covered Mt. Hermon, where I was living when "Operation Desert Storm" blew in; and Ha'On, with its campground and ostrich farm on the eastern shores of the Sea of Galilee, across from Tiberias; and last but not least, my beloved Jerusalem, next to my favorite spot on earth: the Temple Mount.

I looked you up on google, and I'm hoping there is a site, that has a email address so I could write to you. If there is an address, I hope I can find it. I don't understand all of your stances, but I'd like to learn. All I know is I love Israel, and am forever grateful for the Israelites writing the Bible. Without them, we would not have the OT, NT. Some people forget, that many Jews believed on Jesus when Jesus was on the earth, and also after when He went back to the Father. The Jews are the chosen, and I know salvation is open to all, and the time of the gentiles will end soon. I would like to live in Israel someday. Maybe they will all return to the land God gave to them soon. I saw some of the you tubes you have. I don't understand why Zionist Jews are bashed by people, God will curse those who curse them.... Yes, as a Christian-Zionist my articles dare to share the plain truth about the good and bad Jews (and good and bad Christians), contrary to the unsubstantiated charges that those who love the United States and strongly support the Jewish homeland of Israel turn a blind eye to Israel's faults. As necessary, such love includes "tough love" in the holy spirit of Yahshua who said, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore and repent" (Revelation 3:19), as well as following the spiritual principle of Proverbs 27:5 - "Better is open rebuke than hidden love."

Just as there's good patriotic Christian Americans like Chuck Baldwin (no pretense), there are bad patriotic Christian (false-pretense/pseudo) Americans like George W. Bush - whom to the Messiah rejecting world, we all look the 'same'!


George W. Bush will masquerade as a Christian patriotic American so as to dupe real Christians - while he's knowingly helping to create a backlash, a hostile environment, against the real Christians by those who aren't (ie the Christ rejecting world around us etc.)!


Again, from what I understand, there's Jews that have, and continue to feed off others at the expense of the good Jews...Kind of like when the world wants to know what Christians think about this social issue or another, they run to the Roman Catholic Church to hear from the Pope...they don't run to a David Wilkerson, Pastor Chuck Baldwin, Chuck Smith, others of fundamental Christianity...


That's kind of how I see Ben's work as expounding upon...I could be wrong though; I'm open to learn as I sojourn along on my way to glory/esteem in heaven...

Rabbi Kahane, the New York-born founder of the now illegal Kach movement, was murdered by an Egyptian-born American in New York in 1990 after a speech in which he warned American Jews to move to Israel before it was “too late” to escape a second Holocaust.”

He founded the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in New York, which attracted Jews to fight anti-Semitic attacks, and he was the founder of the Kach movement. He was elected to the Knesset after making Aliyah [moving to Israel], but the legislature banned the party from the legislature in 1988 and outlawed it six years later.

MK Ben-Ari reminded Israel leaders that the JDL encouraged Jews to stand up for their rights and defeat anti-Semitism. Rabbi Kahane also was active in the struggle to open the gates for ‘Refuseniks,” Jews in the former Soviet Union, during the era of prohibitions to observe Jewish laws and leave the country for Israel.

Intolerance upon the Temple Mount

Last week, our synagogue in Beit Shemesh made its annual High Holy Day week visit to the Temple Mount. We began the tradition six years ago when the site was reopened to non-Muslims. The Israeli Jews, stewards for all Twelve Tribes of Israel, must acknowledge their biblical right, first and foremost, to the biblical city of Jerusalem, and seal it with the liberation and restoration of the Temple Mount. What other people or holy book have made Jerusalem famous worldwide? To shy away from this clear biblical mandate to liberate and annex, to go and grow, survive and thrive, in every area of the Promised Land of Israel, capital Jerusalem, undermines their blessings from God and begrudging respect from the nations.

A Sabbath stroll in Swan Creek Park

Today is the seventh day Sabbath, so I figured I'd take our dog for a walk in Swan Creek Park instead of just going around the neighborhood as I normally do. Something special for both of us among God's good creation. :-)

Immediately on the trail I saw this young fellow about 19 years old who looked Jewish and we said hi and he went the one way and we went the other (it circles around). When we met up again I asked him if he saw any lions, tigers or bears. He joked, "Plenty, so be careful." I noticed he was wearing an upside down hand around his neck and asked him in Hebrew, "Ata Yehudi?" (Are you Jewish?). He said yes and smiled, "How could you tell?" I asked if it was Fatima - meaning the Hand of Fatima (among Muslim culture) and he said the hand is to ward off the evil eye. Jews have their versions of it, as well as Muslims and others. I didn't bother saying it's a pagan superstition although I thought it. (I refer to such Babylonian relics in my article Israel and Judah Must Get House in Order Before King Messiah Arrives).

I introduced myself, "Kareem lee David Ben-Ariel." (My name is David Ben-Ariel). His name is Aharon (Aaron).

I asked Aharon if he'd been to Israel and he said no, and I said, "od lo" (not yet). Aharon asked if I had been and I said yes, including living on 8 kibbutzim throughout the Land fulfilling my goals (mentioned in God-given love for the Jews), with the intention of finally living in Jerusalem, b'ezrat HaShem (with the help of God).

Aharon asked, "What are you doing here?" I said, "To meet you...and to tell you to follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland. Do you hate me now?" He laughed and said, no. I told him I'm a Christian but not a missionary, otherwise I wouldn't have so many Jewish friends in Israel.

I mentioned my Beyond Babylon blog with its political and religious articles, with a focus on Israel, and encouraged him to check it out and we went our ways. Conveniently, we met up again near where I had parked and I was then able to give him one of my Beyond Babylon cards that pictures my book and on the back offers my David Ben-Ariel website address and personal email. God is good.

For example, in September 2007, she issued a position paper in which she wrote that "Israel’s right to exist in safety as a Jewish state, with defensible borders and an undivided Jerusalem as its capital, must never be questioned."
In June 2004, she voted for the Senate resolution endorsing President George W. Bush’s letter to then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon that envisaged Israel retaining "major Israeli population centers" in Judea and Samaria and "defensible borders" in any final peace agreement.
Now that she is secretary of state, her positions on Israel have undergone a startling and, for Mr. Klein, "troubling transformation." She is advocating the policies of the Obama administration, and, in that capacity, she has even denied the existence of the letter from Mr. Bush which she, as senator, had endorsed.

Incitement

Mr. Klein recalled that, as senator, Mrs. Clinton repeatedly warned of the monumental dangers inherent in Palestinian incitement to hatred and murder of Jews. She noted that the brazen, open calls for violence that could be heard in PA-controlled schools, media, and mosques would have "dire consequences for peace for generations to come."
"It is clear that the Palestinian Authority, as we see on PATV, is complicit" in terrorist attacks and that we should condition US aid to the PA on a "cessation of Palestinian propaganda and hateful rhetoric," Sen. Clinton once said.
But as secretary state, she now enthusiastically supports an unconditional increase in US aid--$900 million annually—to the PA and Gaza, where it is not at all certain the money will not be funneled to Hamas terrorists.

Harsh Language

"The woman who, as senator, supported Israel’s plan to retain major population centers in Judea and Samaria in any final peace deal with the Palestinians, now, as secretary of state, has adopted the Obama administration’s harsh language towards the only reliable democratic US ally in the Middle East," said Mr. Klein.
Interviewed in May on Al-Jazeera TV, she said, "We want to see a stop to settlement construction, additions, natural growth—any kind of settlement activity." In an attempt to curry favor with the station’s Arab audience, she threw in that she had "reinforced this last night at a dinner with Prime Minister Netanyahu."
She reiterated this point even more bluntly in Egypt, telling her hosts, that the Obama administration intended to press the point to Israel that they would be allowed "not some settlements, not outposts, not natural growth exceptions."

Iran

Before the recent elections in Iran were held, followed by the street demonstrations by young Iranians desperate for freedom, Mrs. Clinton stated publicly that the Obama administration intended to condition at least some of its efforts to prevent the Islamic Republic from becoming a nuclear power on Israel’s willingness to bow to pressure and make concessions.
Speaking in April before the House Appropriations Committee, Mrs. Clinton said that "for Israel to get the kind of strong support it’s looking for vis-à-vis Iran, it can’t stay on the sidelines with respect to the Palestinians and the peace efforts, they go hand-in-hand."
"She is demanding that Israel make these concessions to the same PA that she, as senator, once described as ‘complicit’ in terrorism and incitement," said Mr. Klein.

Illegal Construction

Almost as soon as she was sworn into her current position, Mrs. Clinton began demanding that Israel allow illegally-built Palestinian homes in eastern Jerusalem to remain unmolested, but, at the same time, she insisted that legal building by Israeli Jews in eastern Jerusalem be prohibited.
She called such Jewish construction "unhelpful."
Mr. Klein wondered what happened to Senator Clinton’s support for an undivided Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
"Suddenly, parts of an ‘undivided Jerusalem’ are places where Jews may not move or build, even though Jews were the majority in eastern Jerusalem from the mid-1800s until 1948, when Jordan forced the Jewish residents to flee. Now, once again, Jews are the majority, but Mrs. Clinton would deny them the right to live and build in their own capital," said Mr. Klein.
He noted that Mrs. Clinton has justified her criticism of Jewish building by citing the 2003 roadmap plan, which, she said, Israel is not fulfilling.
"Yet she doesn’t mention unfulfilled Palestinian roadmap obligations that were supposed to occur simultaneously, including an end to the incitement, confiscating illegal weapons, cutting off all funding to terror groups, and an immediate call for an end to all violence," said Mr. Klein.

Boasting about Shalit

Not only has the PA not fulfilled these obligations, there is evidence that the incitement may be getting worse. Last month, PATV featured a program in which a teacher from Fatah (the Palestinian faction to which PA President Mahmoud Abbas belong) competes with Hamas students to see which group has engaged in more brutal terrorism against Israelis.
Hamas’s most important claim was the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, who, if he is still alive, has been held incommunicado for three years. While the Fatah teacher was impressed with that accomplishment, he brought up Fatah-perpetrated 2001 lynching of two IDF reservists who got lost and wandered into Ramallah. That incident led to the notorious photo of a Palestinian, who had just murdered the reservists and then unceremoniously dumped their bodies from a window, holding up his bloody hands for the camera.
According to Mr. Klein, Mrs. Clinton used to take these violations seriously when she was senator. Mr. Klein recalls that, at a 2003 Senate committee hearing at which he testified, Mrs. Clinton said, referring to the Palestinians, "How can you think about building a better future, no matter what your political views, if you indoctrinate your children to a culture of death?"
In 2007, she again commented on PA propaganda, insisting it had to be stopped and the PA had to be prevented from "idealizing for children a world without Israel." Palestinian children, she said, were being "taught never to accept the reality of the State of Israel."
"We cannot build a peaceful, stable, safe future on such a hate-filled violent and radical foundation," she said, adding that the PA has not adequately repudiated such programming.

Suddenly Quiet

Mr. Klein pointed out that, as secretary of state, Mrs. Clinton has said nothing about PA incitement to hatred and murder. When she was asked recently by Palestinian teenagers on a PATV program what she would do if her daughter "was unfortunate enough to have been born under occupation, born deprived of freedom and liberty," she responded that she would give her child "the best education I could for her" and "would never give up on the dream of a Palestinian state."
That response, according to Mr. Klein, "legitimized the question’s false premise and actually helped incite hatred against Israel by not refuting it."
"She ignored the fact that 98 percent of Palestinians actually live under the PA or Hamas, and are not under Israeli control," said Mr. Klein. "She also seemed to forget that an alarming number of Palestinian parents have encouraged their children to become suicide bombers."

Who Is She?

Mr. Klein said he, like Brooklyn Assemblyman Dov Hikind, "liked Mrs. Clinton a lot more when she was senator from New York."
"Now I wonder: who is the real Hillary Clinton," said Mr. Klein.
While many Israeli Jews have complained about what they see as lack of support from American Jewry in light of the Obama administration’s increased hostility towards the Jewish state, no Israeli has complained about the ZOA.
In July alone, Mr. Klein wrote and widely disseminated dozens of columns, praising those officials who have stood up for Israel and blasting those who did not.

The Jewish pioneers are not turning against Israel but are expressing understandable anger and frustration at a treacherous government that puts foreign interests above that of Jews and Israelis.

A proper word for settlements are Jewish Pioneering Communities in bibical Judea and Samaria. The East Bank of the Jordan River remains Arab-occupied (in British-forged “Jordan” on dismembered parts of the Promised Land of Israel)), but you never hear the msm refer to it as the “East Bank.” The New Testament refers to such biblical territories as Judea and Samaria, just like the Bible does.

Christian Zionists and Jews of faith recognize these facts, and it’s past time president usurper, the fraud and foreigner Soetoro/Obama, submit to the Word and Will of God and acknowledge it’s the Promised Land of ISRAEL - not Ishmael or an acursed Palestine!

Those who engage in unwarranted hatred and wickedly malign these Jewish heroes reminds me of Hannah Senesh: Her Life and Diary, that included this interesting observation: “When anyone in Hungary spoke of Zionism five or even two years ago, Jewish public opinion condemned him as a traitor of Hungary, laughed at him, considered him a mad visionary, and under no circumstances heard him out.”

Thank God that the few Zionists were able to transcend the bitter criticism of the short-sighted majority! Thank God that such “mad” visionaries saw their dream become a reality: a Jewish Homeland!

During my brief appearance before Israel’s High Court, the prosecution charged that I hold “dangerous ideas.” I suppose the short-sighted prosecution would ban the Bible if he could since it contains the dangerous ideas that millions believe in! What are those “dangerous ideas?” That the Promised Land is promised to Israel and not to Ishmael; that the Temple Mount must be restored as the TEMPLE Mount and respected as Judaism’s holiest site; that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel.

May Israel appreciate those Jewish pioneers and those who stand with them, who encourage them to be strong and overcome every obstacle, that their “dangerous ideas” may be recognized as innocent IDEALS and embraced, that Israel may live and prosper!

A House of Prayer For All Peoples?
