Life and death was in Jemison's hands

Re: Accused teen’s status now in judge’s hands

Dailahntae Jemison's vicious attack against an elderly person of white color fits a typical profile we would be wise not to ignore or vainly attempt to deny.

"Criminologist Marvin Wolfgang says, “For four violent offenses—homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault—the crime rates for blacks are at least 10 times as high as they are for whites, ” as noted in Walter E. Williams' recent column, "Is Racial Profiling Racist?" (Racial profiling is realist!).

We must protect society from predators who have proven they have no conscience or interest in "rehabilitation" except as an excuse to play the system for fools and reduce their time in the pen.

Hands can create or destroy. Hands, as the martial arts proves, are a weapon. Life and death, his own and Mr. Brundage's, was in Jemison's hands. Actions have consequences. Don't soften the blow of his hateful and murderous actions. Mr. Brundage is dead. At the very least, sentence Jemison to life.
