Toledo council's move to pick Ashford 'inappropriate'
Democrats on Toledo City Council “inappropriately” elected Michael Ashford council president after they neglected to first remove his Republican predecessor and then failed to administer an oath of office, according to a ruling by the city law department... Mr. Ashford was unavailable for comment last night.

At least this is a step in the right direction in the pursuit of justice, but will the city law department investigate if Rob Ludeman's civil rights have been violated, since it is a known fact he was ousted as president of the Toledo City Council because he is a white man? Even The Blade acknowledged the "racial politics" that were at work against Mr. Ludeman.

The pattern of reverse discrimination in Toledo, Ohio has got to stop! The institutionalized racism of "affirmative action" and quotas and extra points must end.

The NAACP is a racist organization

The next time the racist NAACP holds a smug press conference, won't somebody please be courageous enough to 1) call them on being a racist organization that seeks advantage based upon color of skin rather than content of character (did MLK plagiarize that?) or qualifications, and 2) ask them if they want to be called colored, and if not, why do they still call themselves the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People? Besides, aren't we all people of color?

Johnny Mickler is president of the Urban League [a racist organization like the NAACP], which tries to build character and self-esteem in minority kids. [Isn't that the responsibility of the parents?].

With Chief Bell leaving [who appears to have been very qualified], Doctor Eugene Sanders [who couldn't even speak proper English!] now running Cleveland schools, and with Jack Ford no longer Mayor of Toledo [thank God!], Mickler believes African Americans in Toledo need to see a leader from their community in a high position in city government.[Fine. Let them vote like responsible people do - not just demand a position for one of their own. Perhaps European Americans or British Americans or Asian Americans will want the chance to vote one from their own "community" into office].

Right now, it doesn't appear there will be a campaign to demand Chief Bell be replaced with another African American. [Isn't that a thinly veiled threat? Demand? And if such ridiculous demands aren't met, what? Another riot? That ought to build character and self-esteem in impressionable young minds. Can't get what you want? Demand it! If that doesn't work, take it to the streets and break the law]. Obviously the hope is qualified blacks will be interviewed for the job, and a capable African American will succeed Bell as both Fire Chief and as a symbol of progress and respect. [Why the preoccupation with race? Why not be color blind and simply say may the best man win? And if a Black man does win, let's hope he's truly qualified and not just an "affirmative action" hire.].

I had a letter published in The Blade (Toledo, Ohio) and sent to President Reagan, pleading with him not to commit the folly of creating any foolish "Martin Luther King Day." Our fellow black Americans, generally speaking, still hated President Reagan after the fact and still don't practice the good things (there were some good things) King preached.

If we're to be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin, why continue to demand quotas and curves and tolerate such racist organizations as the NAACP?

Why doesn't somebody do a documentary on those humble folk marching back then (with their useful idiot whites, too many liberal Jews) with a split screen exposing "niggas with attitude" (a black phrase), the rampant crime, outrageous rates of illegitimacy, unemployment by choice, gangs, welfare projects, black on black violence (not to mention assault on others), the "menace to society" mentality (another black phrase, thanks to excellent director Albert Hughes), disproportionate black prison population and the verbal lynching concerned blacks suffer mercilessly when they dare speak out against such inexcusable poverty of the spirit and moral degradation, slavery to sin and self-destruction?

It is appropriate on this black holiday (and that's what it amounts to, in all honesty), to consider this issue of race from a biblical perspective that those horribly brainwashed by the politically correct cult hate with a passion and rage against in vile anarchist fashion, drowning out any reason and voice other than their own.

Regardless, this biblical truth must be shared, must be made known, while we still have the freedom to exercise our God-given rights of speech and religion.

Is interracial marriage wrong? Did God intend for the races to be separate? Did God divide the nations to preserve distinct family ties?

The plain truth is made known in Race Matters.
